Afghan President Hamid Karzai said that all the Afghan prisoners detained in US would be handed over to Afghan authorities by January 2011.President Karzai was talking to representatives of the media in Kabul where he informed that all prisoners serving captivity in Afghanistan would also be handed over to the custody of Afghan law enforcing agencies by January 2011. He asserted that all goals of his trip to the US were achieved.
He said that the Washington has assured him that innocent civilians will not be targeted during NATO raids.In another development at least 50 people including six soldiers have been killed during a suicide attack on a NATO convey. Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.
