Pak Will Not Initiate New Operation In The Tribal Region

Pakistan’s political and military leadership have clarified to a high power American delegation present in the country that Pakistan will not initiate new operation in the tribal region.

Sources have informed Dunya news that the Pakistani leadership clarified that the internally displaced people in South Waziristan and Swat are yet to resettled. The repair and developmental works are yet to start in both affected areas, thus Pakistan would first try to rehabilitate the displaced people.

The US delegation led by General James Logan Jones (Retired), US National Security Advisor, called on Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at General Headquarters. The visiting dignitaries remained with the Chief of Army Staff for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest.
