US Probing If NY Suspect Has Ties To Groups: Obama

President Barack Obama Tuesday said the United States is investigating to determine whether an arrested suspect in the failed car bombing attempt in New York city’s Times Square last weekend has links to terrorist groups.

Obama said, “Justice will be done” and that US authorities will continue to do everything in their power to protect the American people.
“As Americans and as a nation, we will not be terrorized. We will not cower in fear. We will not be intimidated,” he stated at the annual meeting of the Business Council.

Obama added, “the American people can be assured that the FBI and their partners in this process have all the tools that they need to learn everything that we can, and that includes what, if any, ties this individual has to individual groups.”
