Netanyahu Hold Inconclusive Talks With US Envoy

Latest News About Washington reiterated its desire for the success of long lasting peace talks between Israel and Palestine.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the US Middle East envoy George Mitchell discussed indirect peace talks which a minister had already said were doomed to fail.

But no announcements were made and Israeli officials have said the two are to meet again.The three-hour meeting in Jerusalem was described as "good and productive" by the US state department.
