Elahi To Launch Campaign For Separate Provinces

Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that his party has presented a resolution in the Senate and the National Assembly to make South Punjab a separate province and the campaign in this regard will be started from tomorrow.

Talking to media at Multan airport, he said that it was the wish of people of South Punjab to get a separate province but the government will create a number of hurdles in the way of this movement.

He said that Muslim League – the party which got Pakistan – has now decided to get a separate province for South Punjab.
