LHC Disposed off Cases Against Bar on Becoming PM For Third Time

Latest News Updates Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed petitions against bar on becoming a prime minister for third time by declaring it ineffective.

A full bench comprising judges of LHC, including Justice Ijaz Ahmed, Justice Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussain, Justice Shaikh Ahmed Saeed, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman, heard the case.

Tariq Aziz Advocate and Asghar Khan Advocate filed these petitions against the ban on third time premiership.Deputy General Naveed Anayat contended that the pleas stand unwarranted after the passage of the 18th amendment.
